Copywriter
Craft engaging content for websites, blog posts and email campaigns.
Research and tailor messages to resonate with target audiences.
Edit and proofread work to ensure clarity and consistency.
Collaborate with the internal marketing team for strategic direction and feedback.
Adapt content for multiple channels and formats.
Videographer
Conceptualize, shoot and edit compelling video content.
Plan and storyboard projects to establish clear narratives.
Manage on-set logistics, including audio, lighting, and camera setups.
Perform editing, color correction, sound design and any other post-production work.
Work closely with the in-house team to ensure videos align with brand guidelines.
Photographer
Capture high-quality images relevant to the client’s needs.
Plan photoshoots by scouting locations and arranging schedules.
Edit photos to achieve a consistent and professional look.
Maintain and manage all related equipment.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure visuals align with brand identity.
Web Designer
Design and maintain visually appealing websites.
Create wireframes, mockups and prototypes that reflect the nonprofit’s branding.
Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for desktop and mobile devices.
Collaborate with developers and marketing team to integrate design functionality.
Update website content based on feedback and analytics.
Graphic Designer
Develop creative visual assets for digital and print materials.
Design marketing collateral such as brochures, posters, digital ads, infographics and other marketing collateral.
Maintain consistency with nonprofit’s brand guidelines across all projects.
Brainstorm innovative concepts with the internal marketing team.
Revise designs based on feedback and emerging trends.
Social Media Manager
Create and schedule engaging content for social platforms.
Develop social media strategies to increase visibility and audience engagement.
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics.
Interact with followers and manage community engagement.
Coordinate with the creative team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

STEP 1
Initial Application
First, complete our culture index. We’ll review your results to see if your personality profile suits your preferred role.
STEP 2
Sample Project Evaluation
Once your culture index is approved, you’ll receive a sample project to complete. We’ll evaluate your work and then let you know if we plan to move forward with your application.
STEP 3
Tier Evaluation and Video Interview
Based on your culture index and sample project scores, we’ll assign you one of the following tiers.
• Development Tier: If the interview goes well, we’ll make you an offer and talk about training and onboarding.
• Intermediate/Expert Tiers: We’ll discuss your availability, skills and career goals. If the interview is successful, we’ll make an offer and outline the next steps for your onboarding and training.
*Experts may also be considered for projects from other MadAveGroup agencies or even a full-time agency role.
STEP 4
Onboarding and Project Assignment
If you accept the position, you’ll start the onboarding process and training. When there’s a project available, you’ll get your first assignment. If there’s no project available, you’ll join the next training session.
