About Lindsay

Lindsay Williams brings 15+ years of business and nonprofit experience to the Library - primarily in the areas of marketing and development.

Her experience in the nonprofit sector includes seven years at Toledo School for the Arts, as well as early career experience at United Way, Mobile Meals, The Arts Commission and more. Lindsay’s business experience extends to the nonprofit sector via community outreach, having cooperated with the corporate social responsibility teams for the Detroit Pistons, Joel Embiid (Philly 76ers), Cleveland Cavaliers and more. With these partners, she worked to develop mutually beneficial programs leveraging Rhymes With Reason’s educational technology platform to inspire young fans in achieving higher literacy levels.

Lindsay’s grant writing and development endeavors for nonprofits and small businesses have produced millions of dollars, and she has secured several artist grants for her own creative business.

Now a member of the Small Business & Nonprofit team at Toledo Library, Lindsay enjoys translating the learnings of these career experiences into high-quality assistance for our customers via one-on-one assistance sessions, classes, and more.
