About Lisa

Lisa Banks has sat on the side of the table that scores grant applications, and she's watched remarkable nonprofits lose funding not because of their work, but because they couldn't prove it on paper. She started Dream Keepers to close that gap.

For more than fifteen years, Lisa has worked inside the nonprofit and human-services world as an executive director, a VP, a two-time regional director, and now as a federal grant reviewer. She knows what it's like to run a mission on a shoestring, and she knows exactly what funders and auditors look for, because she's the one reading the applications.

Today, Lisa helps small nonprofits build the behind-the-scenes systems they run on: data and outcome tracking that proves impact, custom dashboards and automations that give teams hours back, grant readiness and federal-style mock reviews, certification and accreditation prep (CARF, OhioDBH, ODMHSAS and more), policy and procedure development, and curriculum and program design. She works with small, under-resourced nonprofits in behavioral health, reentry, homeless services, and beyond, that deserve the same robust systems big agencies can afford.
