It’s important to remember that those funds don’t roll over from day to day.

How to Apply for a Google Ad Grant

  1. Enroll in Google for Nonprofits and agree to their terms regarding donations and nondiscrimination.
  2. Enter your organization’s details in the submission form, including contact information and your nonprofit tax ID number.
  3. Connect Google Analytics to your website. The free reporting tool allows you to track online visitors and analyze the effectiveness of your ad campaigns.
  4. Validate your nonprofit status through Goodstack.
  5. Log in to your Google for Nonprofits account and select “Activate” under Google Ad Grant. Their team will assess your eligibility, which may take several business days.
  6. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions to complete your Google Ads account. Select “Classic” to access the full suite of tools.
